Yoga for Insomnia

Your teacher, Celeste Mendelsohn is a well-trained, passionate advocate of movement therapy for addiction and healing trauma. She understands fully that sleep is one of the most important nourishing acts of love that you can do for your body, mind, and spirit. Often, our sleep is sacrificed for things we feel need to get done within the limited 24 hours we have in a day; work, family activities, etc. And during times of emotional stress, even when we try to sleep, we find it is elusive. Counting sheep just doesn't seem to work.

People who have trouble sleeping often try many things to get to sleep including strong medications with uncomfortable side effects. In this course we offer you a more natural way of achieving the sleep you need. By being aware of our nighttime rituals, eating habits, the way we move, and the way we breathe, restful sleep can be ours.
